His blood did sat-is-fy, yes, He paid the debt I owe;

To Paul, He gave this gos-pel, so all who would be-lieve;

by faith a-lone in His blood; E-ter-nal life re-ceive!

3-   A se-cret day is com-ing the Lord shall call us home;

The trump will sound! The dead rise, then we, he did a-tone

shall meet Him in the air, yes, the twink-ling of an eye;

Our Bless-ed Hope we look for, a-bove the clouds so high!

4-   The glo-ri-ous ap-pear-ing, the Great God in the air;

Our bod-ies fash-ioned like Him, His right-eous-ness to wear;

We'll ride the winds of Hea-ven, with bless-ings, as Joint Heir;

And reign with Christ for-ev-er; That Bless-ed Hope, to share!
